Aside from the official conference schedule there will also be some informal events, meetups and gathering happening over the course of the weekend most of which are being organized by fellow event attendees. Wednesday, May 6: NYC Pleasure Salon
The Pleasure Salon has been created to build community, allowing sex-positive activists to cross-pollinate. Our gatherings bring together members of the BDSM, swinger, alternative gender, LGBT, sex-activist, nudist, sex-magic, polyamory, Pagan, radical faerie, tantra, dark odyssey, sex-blogger, porn, pervert and sex-worker communities, and others whose passion is sex. (Let us know if we missed any one of you!) Through building networks in the sex-positive community, The Pleasure Salon hopes to help create a sex-positive world. It is a place for the open exchange of ideas and sensual expression. See the RSVP.

BoltBus: A group of NYers, etc. will be taking the 10:30 AM BoltBus from NY to DC.
Pool & & drinksk 3-6 PM: Weather permitting, poolside drinks (and possibly early registration)

Service project: Donation/collection of personal care items: Throughout the weekend , we’ll be collecting donations of your hotel toiletries for HIPS so that they can be distributed to sex workers in need of them.

Meetup: Sex Toy Reviewer
Erik Van Riper from SexToy.com will host a sex toy reviewer meetup about the Sextoy.com Reviewer Program, as well as be available to provide information about the affiliate program for MyFreeWebsite.com, should anyone have any questions. Erik is interested in meeting all of you, the movers and shakers of the industry, and seeing how his vision of data sharing amongst all parties can be expanded upon. Erik intends to be doing a lot more listening than talking – he would like to know how he can help open avenues of communication.
